This Privacy Policy explains how Cue Dynamics (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit cuedynamics.com (the “Site”), sign up for our resources or emails, apply for or purchase our products and services, or otherwise interact with us. We are committed to handling personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where applicable, other privacy laws including the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Cue Dynamics, operated from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, is responsible for personal information under its control. The founder acts as the designated privacy contact accountable for our compliance. For all privacy matters, contact: hello@cuedynamics.com.
Information you provide directly:
Transactional information: when you purchase, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number. We receive confirmation of payment and basic transaction details (such as your name, email, amount, and product purchased) needed to deliver your purchase and keep required records.
Scheduling information: when you book a session, our scheduling provider collects your name, email, and selected time.
Information collected automatically: basic technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and referring pages, through hosting logs and essential cookies required for the Site to function.
We collect, use, and disclose personal information with your knowledge and consent, except where otherwise permitted or required by law. Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (delivering what you purchased), consent (marketing emails), legitimate interests (operating and securing the Site, responding to inquiries), and legal obligation (records we must keep). You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice.
We send commercial electronic messages only in compliance with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL): we send marketing email only with your consent, every message identifies us and includes a working unsubscribe mechanism, and unsubscribe requests are honoured promptly and in any event within 10 business days. Transactional emails (such as receipts, delivery of a purchased resource, and session confirmations) are sent as needed to provide what you requested.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf to run the business:
Each provider is bound by its own privacy and security terms and processes personal information only to provide its service. We may also disclose personal information where required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
Our service providers may store and process personal information in Canada, the United States, and other countries. While information is outside Canada, it is subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which it is located. We choose reputable providers with appropriate safeguards.
We keep personal information only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described above or as required by law (for example, tax and business records). Information that is no longer required is deleted or anonymized.
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
To exercise any right, email hello@cuedynamics.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we respond within the timelines required by applicable law (generally within 30 days under PIPEDA).
The Site uses essential cookies required for it to function. We do not currently run third-party advertising or tracking cookies. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may affect how the Site works.
The Site does not respond differently to browser “Do Not Track” signals, because we do not track visitors across third-party websites.
We protect personal information with safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity, including reputable secured providers, encryption in transit (HTTPS), and access limited to what is necessary. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information and review our practices as the business grows.
If a breach of security safeguards creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you and report to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as soon as feasible, as required by PIPEDA, and keep the records the law requires.
The Site and our products are intended for working professionals and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
The Site may link to websites we do not operate. This policy does not apply to those websites, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices.
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above will be revised when we do. Material changes will be posted on this page.
If you have a question, concern, or complaint about our handling of your personal information, contact us first at hello@cuedynamics.com and we will investigate and respond. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca). EU and UK residents may also lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.
